We’re recruiting an Experienced Interior Designer

As an experienced designer, you will be on top of your game, producing stunning interiors and buildings that work for all of the right reasons.

The success of any scheme hinges on correct space planning, as much as the aesthetic. You must understand people as well as buildings and what makes a space look great. Creative flair is important, but having a practical eye for detail and a logical approach to how a space really does function is key.

– At least 5+ years experience in a commercial interiors / architectural environment, ideally working on retail, hospitality and leisure projects.
– Strong AutoCAD skills
– Ability to produce detailed drawing packages for tender.
– Carry out site surveys independently, nationwide.
– Manage clients and suppliers to ensure successful project completion.
– Knowledge of planning requirements in order to submit & manage applications through to approval.
– Ability to manage a varied workload across a number of different projects/Client accounts.
– Must be able to deal with a changing workload with a positive and pro-active approach.
– Must be able to manage clients and workload independently to meet deadlines.
– Knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM is desirable.
– Proficient user in other programmes i.e Photoshop, Sketchup, would be beneficial.
– Up to date knowledge of current products, materials and FF+E is important to this role.

The right candidate will be able to ‘hit the ground running’ and will quickly become a big part of a small, efficient team. You will be a strong communicator and poses a ‘can do’ attitude whilst working closely with the other designers and technicians.

Settling in time will be limited, you will be highly adaptable and waste no time in applying your skills to help the team deliver on projects.
